We appreciate that many people think that politics and therapy should be separate and

that as therapists, we should not share our opinions and beliefs in order to create a neutral and accepting space for clients. We, as a team, have determined that the best way we can offer safety is through transparency, and that includes our personal reactions and feelings to a variety of topics. Our version of safety is you, as our client, not having to worry if we are actually people you can trust to work with you as you do the hard and vulnerable work that therapy requires. We believe in letting you know how we are working to be safe, inclusive, accepting, and client centered. As always, be gentle with yourselves and others and reach out with any questions you may have for us.
